Northglenn’s safest and scariest event is back with Safe Street Halloween.
Costume-clad youngsters and their families can first enter the "trunk or treat" provided by local businesses and then travel through the classes of Northglenn High School receiving candy, frights and delights along the way. Enjoy going through the haunted gym, the scary hallway and arachnophobia corner! Don’t worry – there’s plenty of not-so-scary fun for the young ones, with decorated classrooms, cookie decorating, contests and more surprises each year.
Please note that the entrance of the event has moved from the gym to the commons hallway with doors at the SW corner of the building. The line this year will circle around the baseball field around the portable classroom units. Look for signage on arrival of this new change.
Businesses and organizations can purchase an indoor 10-square-foot area to decorate as they please and set up for activities or games or get involved in our "trunk or treat" outside for free. Learn more and sign up as a business vendor at the link.
Help is needed on the day of the event for setting-up, working a booth, handing out treats and cleaning up at the end of the evening.
For more information, contact Officer Scott McNeilly at 303.450.8852 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Each year about 5,000 children attend and more than 3,500 pounds of candy are handed out.
Candy donations will be accepted starting in September to make sure all those Halloween bags are filled.
