DESCRIPTION
Join us for the Farmers' Highline Canal Cleanup where hundreds of volunteers from Northglenn and Thornton spend one Saturday morning in March scouring parks, riverbeds and trails picking up garbage and debris. This 27-year long tradition ensures the canal is clear before the water for the canal is turned on in April and gets our parks and trails ready for the spring and summer. We collect more than 300 bags of trash each year plus large items including tires, carts, and other random bits. A thank-you lunch is served afterward.
