Northglenn Residents Sweep Count the Lights Contest

Local Youth Win $2,000 in Prizes

For the first time in its 11-year history, Northglenn residents swept the top five spots in the annual Count the Lights Contest.

Youth ages 6-18 could guess the number of lights on an antique fire truck located at the Northglenn Marketplace in November and December. The top five finishers received cash gift cards as prizes.

Here are the winners, with age, hometown and amount won:

• 5th Place – Enrique Frias, 13, Northglenn, $100
• 4th Place – Jaxon Guokas, 6, Northglenn, $150
• 3rd Place – Mason Bochert, 6, Northglenn, $250
• 2nd Place – Liam Adams, 6, Northglenn, $500
• 1st Place – Miguel Estorga, 15, Northglenn, $1,000
