The city offers preschool and pre-kindergarten programs inside the Northglenn Recreation Center.

Youth and Teen Programs

Club 22

Club 22 is the place for youth in fourth through eighth grades to hang out and have some fun. There's always a DJ playing the latest hits, the pool and weight room are open and video games are available to play.

The cover charge is only $5.

All participants will need to get a photo ID card for entrance into Club 22. Your first card will be free; replacement cards are $5.

Club 22 is held at the Northglenn Recreation Center on the third Saturday of each month from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Pizza, snacks and beverages are available for purchase. Year ‘round activities include: swimming, D.J. music, basketball, walleyball, racquetball, dancing, video games, games, prizes and more! In addition, special events are scheduled for each Club 22.

Roving Recreation

During the summer, join us for crafts, games, friends, and fun all summer long! Come as many or as few days as you would like; your one-time registration fee gives you access to the fun all summer long!

Friday Fun Days

Here’s the scoop for this summer - All trips will be held on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You must register ahead of time (no registrations will be accepted the day of a trip!!!), and you must be going into grades 5 through 9 to participate.

RAP Trips

Join us for one of our monthly RAP (Recreational Alternative Programming) adventure trips with other youth from the Adams County area. These trips are offered in cooperation with the cities of Thornton and Broomfield and the Hyland Hills Recreation District, with a mission to provide drug, alcohol and violence-free fun for youth in our community.

Preschool Programs

The city offers preschool and pre-kindergarten programs inside the Northglenn Recreation Center.

Sessions are four weeks long, with breaks coinciding with the Adams 12 School District schedule.

Proof of age is required for all programs at the time of registration. Preschool programs are state-licensed.

The programs are first come, first served. Online registration with pre-pay only. If you need to schedule payments, please stop the Northglenn Recreation Center to set them up.

If you are new to the program and register online, please download the Program Policy Manual and Participant Information Packet, above right. These must be completed and brought on the first day of class.

Teeny Tots - 3 Years Old
Teeny Tots is a state-licensed school for children 3 years old. (Child must be 3 by the first day of the session enrolled in.) We present curriculum in a play-based atmosphere with an emphasis on socialization. Age appropriate activities and materials are used for arts, crafts, music, books, indoor and outdoor play.

Our goal is for children to have a positive and rewarding experience with children their same age.

Tiny Tots - 4-5 Years Old
Tiny Tots is a state-licensed preschool class open to all children ages 4 and 5 years old. (Child must be 4 by the first day of the session enrolled in.) Kids enjoy fun and learning at the same time. Age appropriate activities and materials are wound around lots of play, experimentation, music, art, literature, make-believe and more. Children are introduced to concepts of the alphabet, numbers and colors to prepare for kindergarten.

Summer Day Camp 2012

Your children can enjoy fun and excitement with us next summer in a safe, state licensed program. Our 11 one-week sessions include all of the below mentioned activities plus crafts, sports, and more.

Please print the parent handbook and emergency packet (includes immunization information). Fill out and bring to parent meeting. Online registration is for pre-paid sessions only. Payment plans are available, but you must come to the Northglenn Recreation Center to register and set up a payment plan.

Mandatory Parent Meeting: Thursday, May 31, 2012

New Families: 7:30 p.m.
