"Potato Man" sits just outside the police station front door on the southwest side of the Northglenn Administration Building. The bronze sculpture won the People's Choice Award in 2004 as part of the Art of Parade program.

The Northglenn Senior Center is located on the second floor of the Northglenn Recreation Center, and is accessible by elevator.

The Senior Center provides an excellent venue for the city's elder residents to socialize or find resources.

Events and activities are going on all time. Just stop on by or contact the center for the latest happenings.

Northglenn Senior Organization

The Northglenn Senior Organization (NSO) plans activities, trips, educational programs and volunteer opportunities for its members, and provides input into the planning of senior programs. NSO members holds monthly business luncheons at various locations. Membership is open to anyone 55 and older, resident and non-resident, and offers the opportunity to participate in NSO sponsored functions.

Membership is $5 per year or $9 for two years. Benefits include:

  • Recognition as new member

  • Name badge

  • Participation in N.S.O. sponsored programs, trips, events, cards and bingo.
