AutoZone Mega Hub Comes to Northglenn

Completion in May 2018

AutoZone, the leading retailer and a leading distributor of automotive replacement parts and accessories in the U.S., will be leasing 35,268 square feet of space at the Huron Center, 1002 W. 104th Avenue for their new Mega Hub facility. The Northglenn Mega Hub will look like a regular storefront with 6,000 square feet of retail space, but the back will be a fulfillment center with nearly 100,000 parts available for distribution to AutoZone customers in various markets. “AutoZone is a welcome addition to Northglenn,” said Mayor Joyce Downing. “We feel they will be a good neighbor.”

AutoZone has 5,381 retail stores, including 15 Mega Hubs, in the U.S. employing approximately 80,000 people. In addition, there are 500 stores in Mexico and nine in Brazil. A reported 20 percent of AutoZone sales each year are to commercial businesses, and 80 percent are to individual retail customers.

Ray Pohlman, vice president of AutoZone said, “We choose our locations carefully, and we are pleased Northglenn fit our needs. It is well-suited geographically and will be able to service other stores and hubs in the area. We feel at home in Northglenn and look forward to serving our neighbors and community.”

The Northglenn AutoZone Mega Hub, which will operate 24/7, is expected to open in May 2018 and will employ approximately 100 people.
