Head Lifeguard
Starting Pay: $20.03 hourly  |  Full Time
Responsible for providing lifeguarding expertise and serving as part of the Aquatics Management Team.  Works under the direct supervision of the Aquatics Coordinator.  This work involves all activities related to the management and safe operation of a municipal swimming pool.

Seasonal Teen Trip Leader
Pay Range: $18.21 - $20.94 hourly  |  Seasonal/Temporary  |  35-40 hours weekly
Assists in planning and implementing summer camp activities over a 12-week period for youth, ages 12-14, under the guidance of the Youth & Teen Programs Coordinator.  This position will drive vans and participate in activities such as rafting, ziplining and horseback riding during Roving Recreation, and will lead craft, sport and outdoor activities during Fun in the Park.  This position works late May through early August.

Independent Contractor Positions
The City's Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture regularly hires independent contractors in all areas of the department including sports, fitness, art, and more.

Application Process
If you would like to propose a class or workshop, please fill out the class proposal form.  Proposals need to be submitted at least 6 months in advance of each season.  If you are not sending a proposal and want to be considered for an existing program, please send us your resume, portfolio or marketing materials, and references.  All documents must be submitted to the appropriate Coordinator below.
