Portion of Malley Heights Shopping Center Purchased
Evergreen Marketplace LLC purchased 39,495 square feet at the Malley Heights Shopping Center, 450-560 Malley Drive. The strip center sits on 4.43 acres adjacent to Mile High Thrift Store. The new owners purchased the property for $4.23 million and plan to make major exterior renovations next year.

New Brewer Moving In
Periodic Brewing is opening a second Colorado location at 2100 E. 112th Ave., Unit 1 (formerly Beer by Design). They opened their flagship location in Leadville in 2015. This new location will allow them to increase production capacity and serve more customers. The brewpub plans to open in January 2018 and will employ eight people. For more information visit

Recognition for Healthy-Focused Businesses
Northglenn businesses – do you encourage a healthier lifestyle for employees and customers?

The city’s Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) Committee wants to recognize you through the HEAL Business Challenge!

In this program, Northglenn companies are honored at different challenge levels for promoting these values in their workplace:

• Healthy Eating (Having healthy snacks and beverages in vending machines and common areas)
• Active Living (Subsidizing wearable technology to help employees track activity)
• Worksite Wellness (Send a wellness newsletter or e-mail series to employees)
• Community Engagement (Participate in programs such as the city’s Snow Stormers or Park and Trail Partners)

Depending on the level reached, businesses are acknowledged with stickers, certificates, mentions in city newsletters and recognition at Northglenn’s annual business breakfast.
