VALE Board Accepting Grant Applications for 2019

Open to nonprofits that assist victims or provide crime prevention programs

The Northglenn VALE (Victim Assistance Law Enforcement) Board is accepting grant applications for funds to be available in the calendar year 2019. The application deadline is Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, at 5 p.m. (Applications must be received or postmarked by the deadline date.)

City Council created VALE in 1990 to enhance victim assistance, crime prevention, and law enforcement programs in their efforts to assist victims and witnesses of criminal violations. As part of that purpose, the city also established a VALE Account. This account receives its funding from a variety of citations issued by the  Police Department. These funds are available to all nonprofit organizations that assist crime victims or provide crime prevention programs. Preference will be given to those organizations serving Northglenn residents.

If you are interested in applying for VALE funding, the application can be found here. All requests will be submitted to the VALE Board for evaluation and approval.

Please contact Tammy Sutton at 303-450-8703 or tsutton@northglenn.org if you have any questions regarding the grant application process.
