Replacement for Croke Reservoir Pedestrian Bridge

Will Not Affect Access to Rest of Nature Area

The existing pedestrian bridge at Croke Reservoir is settling and needs to be replaced. The old bridge will be removed and replaced in the same location with a new structure. The contractor will begin the demolition and removal of the bridge the week of April 2. Work is anticipated to be complete in four to five weeks. Access to the Croke Reservoir trail at this location will be closed during this time. Residents may access the trail from the northwest through Danahy Park or from the east near Huron Street.

The rest of the nature area will remain open to the public, including the nearby fishing pier.
