CAB Members Sought
The Citizens’ Affairs Board has three openings. Residents in all wards are encouraged to apply. CAB is comprised of five Northglenn residents who serve five-year terms. Click here to fill out the application or stop by the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall.
The Citizens' Affairs Board (CAB) gives the people of Northglenn an opportunity to make proposals and discuss issues related to their community, ultimately supporting and maintaining the health, safety and happiness of their fellow residents.
The board offers residents a forum with individual time and space to speak out on city-related issues and ideas. Northglenn residents are encouraged to reach out to the board if they are interested in discussing a topic at 303.450.8756 or email@example.com. Some issues that have been raised in the past include:
- Block parties
- Community engagement
- Stop sign and crosswalk needs
- Public nuisances
- Code enforcement
- Neighborhood Watch Program collaboration
- And more!
Topics are placed on the agenda for the upcoming meeting and residents attend to discuss the matters with the board.
Proposals and issues are then reviewed by the city manager and handled by the most appropriate department(s).
Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 11701 Community Center Drive. These are public meetings. Anyone interested is highly encouraged to attend and share their thoughts.
