Melody Drive south of 104th Avenue in Northglenn will undergo construction starting the last week of August and running through the end of September.
At times, traffic will be limited to one lane, so motorists should be prepared for slower traffic.
The project starts in late August with the replacement of water valves near 104th Avenue and Monterey Circle. This will help with the isolation of the water line in case of a disruption.
Crews will remove the speed humps from Melody Drive during the first week of September. Through the rest of September, the entire stretch of road will have a mill and overlay. This means the top layer of asphalt will be removed and a new layer placed on top. Afterward, the road will be re-striped.
