Residents can rent 20 or 30 cubic yard roll-offs for residential use. Roll-offs work great if you have a large project with a lot of debris, and a trash cart can't contain it all.
Roll-offs are metal dumpsters. A truck arrives and rolls it off its back, then rolls it back on when it's time to pick it up.
Please note: Roll-offs will only be placed on the street, not in driveways or yards.
Price
The rental fee is $257 and includes delivery, pick up and disposal. Payment options include cash, check, debit card, Master Card or Visa. Payment must be made at least one week in advance of rental date. Rentals scheduled within one week of delivery must be paid the day of scheduling.
Please note: If roll-off delivery is canceled after payment has been made, a $10 cancellation fee will apply.
Schedule
Rentals are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. The rental period is three days, with pick up on the fourth:
- Weekday Rental: Monday Delivery (Thursday Pick Up)
- Weekend Rental: Friday Delivery (Monday Pick Up)

Group Roll-Off Request
Any group of five residences located in the same immediate area can apply for free use of a roll-off, as long as their trash service is provided by the city. One of the residents must serve as the point of contact for the group, and agree to the rental terms and conditions. Each residence is allowed to participate in this program once per calendar year.

WASTE MATERIAL cannot go above TOP OF THE CONTAINER nor weigh more than 12 tons
Items that cannot be placed in roll-offs include:
- Electronics
- Tires
- Medical waste
- Mattresses, bedsprings and boxsprings
- Flammable materials
- Items not allowed in trash carts
Terms and Conditions
The container remains the property of the City of Northglenn Sanitation Division; however, the customer acknowledges the care, custody and control of the container while at the customer’s location. The customer further accepts responsibility for all loss or damage to property arising out of use or possession of the container (except normal wear and tear), and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Northglenn against all claims, damages and suits for injury or death to persons or damage to property arising out of use or possession of the container. Container access must be unobstructed for delivery and pickup. Container will be placed in the street adjacent to the requesting property owner's property. Containers will not be placed in driveways.
