Free landfill days are a perfect opportunity for Northglenn residents to dispose of items that cannot fit in a trash cart.

The city typically has two free landfill days per year, one in the spring and one in the fall.
The entrance to Tower Road Landfill is located at 19260 E. 88th Ave. in Commerce City.

Rules and Regulations
- One load per household
- Residents must show proof of residency via Colorado ID.
- All loads must be covered with a tarp if not contained with in a vehicle.
- No charge for cars, vans, or SUVs. The first 5 yards for pick-up trucks and trailers are also free. However, anything that exceeds the 5-yard-maximum will be subject to a current gate rate charge plus applicable fees.
- Appliances are accepted free of charge on free landfill days only and will be recycled.
- Mattresses and box springs are subject to a $34 fee.
