The Northglenn Youth Commission encourages youth to participate in community issues and gives them a voice in government by making recommendations to City Council and staff about topics that impact youth in the community.

Youth Commission Rules of Agreement
Meetings
The commission meets every first and third Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Northglenn Recreation Center. The first Tuesday meeting is a formal meeting with a designated agenda, and the third Tuesday meeting is a work meeting for members to work on project tasks.

Interested in joining as a board member? Fill out the Board and Commission Application. Remember to select "Youth Commission" as the board or commission you are applying for.
Individuals interested in participating as general member or volunteer may submit their inquiry via email to teens@northglenn.org with the subject line "Youth Commission".
Membership
The board of directors is composed of up to fifteen directors, who serve a one-year term. Board of Directors must be 13 to 18 years old and be Northglenn residents or enrolled in an Adams 12 Five Star District school. The commission allows for an unlimited number of general members and volunteers, age 18 and younger.
