Youth Commission

The Northglenn Youth Commission encourages youth to participate in community issues and gives them a voice in government.

The commission makes recommendations to City Council and staff about topics that impact youth in the community.

The commission meets every first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Northglenn Recreation Center.

The board of directors is composed of seven to fifteen directors, who serve a one-year term. Board of Directors must be Northglenn residents or enrolled in an Adams 12 Five Star District school.  Youth Commission members are 13 to 18 years old.  The commission allows for an unlimited number of members.

The Northglenn Youth Commission currently has four vacancies.  Interested in joining?  Please fill out the city's board and commission application. (Make sure you click the button stating you're interested in joining the youth commission.)
