The City of Northglenn was visited by 134 first and second graders as they toured City facilities including City Hall, the Northglenn Recreation Center, Police Department, and the Municipal Court. The children had a hands on tour of the North Metro Fire trucks, Northglenn ambulances, sanitation equipment, street sweeper, park maintenance equipment, water trucks, and a lift truck.
At the end of the tour the kids participated in a community service project by cleaning up the E. B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park. It was a day full of learning and fun!

Call Before You Dig!
To protect yourself from possible injury and from costly repairs, call the Utility Notification Center of Colorado (UNCC) at 1-800-922-1987 before you dig. UNCC acts as a communication center between excavators and underground facility operators by notifying the City utility for water and sewer line locates as well as the appropriate companies for gas and electric, phone and cable. They will also advise you if you need to contact anyone else.

Unless it's an emergency situation, you must allow 48 hours response time.
The color code for markings is as follows:
White = Proposed Excavation
Red = Electric
Yellow = Gas-Oil-Steam
Orange = Communication, CATV
Blue = Water
Green = Sewer
