E. B. Rains Park Cleanup

Officers from the Northglenn Police Department volunteer their time and energy to clean up and beatify the E.B. Rains memorial area. The memorial is located on the East side of E.B. Rains Park, 11700 Community Center Drive. Sergeant Steve Garrow is pictured with Chief Russ Van Houten.

E.B. Rains is the only Northglenn Officer to lose his life while on duty in the city's history. Corporal Edgar Blain Rains Jr. lost his life on May 30th, 1984 while protecting the citizens of Northglenn.
northglenn historic preservation foundation

The mission of the Northglenn Historic Preservation Foundation (Foundation) is to sponsor and cooperate with groups to preserve, protect, and restore historical sites and buildings, and to celebrate significant historical events in the City of Northglenn. The Stonehocker Farm Western Heritage park is its first project. The "Foundation" strives to renovate and enhance this site in a manner which will appeal to the general public. To create a self-sustained project, providing education opportunities and to provide a place that allow for social and community gatherings.

We strive to provide access for all citizens to promote awareness of the interesting heritage which should be preserved for present and future generations.
