The vision for the city is to engage all citizens in the community, to take pride in Northglenn and to experience a strong intergovernmental linkage: youth to adults to seniors to community.
The vision for Northglenn's city government is to be financially sustainable, and to offer its residents first class city services.

The City has been notified that the Police Department is eligible for a grant award from the Byrne Justice Assistance Grant Program. The grant can be used to fund state and local initiatives, technical assistance, training, personnel, police and technical equipment, supplies, contractual support and information systems for criminal justice.
At this time, the Police Department is planning to use the funds to purchase police equipment that will enhance police department operations.
The federal application process requires that the governing body be provided access to the application should they wish to review it. This access must be provided not less 30 days prior to the date the application is submitted.
