Candlelight Vigil

Officer Jeremy Lund lights a candle for Sergeant Steve Garrow in preparation for a unity of officers showing their support of officers that have lost their lives in the line of duty. The candlelight vigil has become a yearly event, held at E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park during National Police Week in mid May.
register as a sex offender

The new automated sex offender registration line is 303-450-8881. This registration line outlines requirements for registering with the Northglenn Police Department, and has an option to leave a message for a return phone call.

Yearly/birthday registrations must be completed prior to the registrant’s birthday. The registration fee has increased to $75 per year, and is due on the registrant’s yearly appointment.

All quarterly, new, and annual registrants must come in on any Tuesday of the month between 1-5 p.m. (no appointment needed) and we will not accept alternate appointment dates or times for anyone. The registrant will enter the City Hall building on the west side at the Police/Court entrance and advise the customer service representative at the police information window that he/she is here to re-register. Registrants must provide current identification and be prepared to provide current information on all vehicles owned or driven, complete employment information including address and phone number, next of kin and home address information.

Changes of employment or vehicle information may also be completed on any Tuesday afternoon during the open walk-in period, between 1 and 5 pm, as well as De-Registrations for those registrants moving out of the City of Northglenn.
