To reach us from I-25, exit at 120th Ave and go east to Grant St. Turn south on Grant St. Grant St. becomes Community Center Dr. Records is located in the lower level of City Hall. The Records Unit serves as the main reception point for the Northglenn Police Department.
The unit is comprised of six full time and two part time Police Services Representatives (PSR's), two part time Customer Service Representatives (CSR's), two transcriptionists and one Records Supervisor and is under the command of Commander Sanders of the Support Division.
Their primary responsibility is the processing, release, storage, and preservation of criminal justice records. They provide general information to the public regarding municipal, state and federal laws. PSR's interview citizens and take reports on both criminal and non-criminal matters which do not require an on-scene investigation by a Patrol Officer. They are responsible for support functions for Patrol, Investigations, and other units in the Department. Additionally each CSO is a deputy court clerk for both Municipal and County Court, a certified CCIC/NCIC computer operator and a Notary Public. They provide Notary services to the public, free of charge, during business hours or by appointment. | | Additional information
