E. B. Rains Park Cleanup
Officers from the Northglenn Police Department volunteer their time and energy to clean up and beatify the E.B. Rains memorial area. The memorial is located on the East side of E.B. Rains Park, 11700 Community Center Drive. Sergeant Steve Garrow is pictured with Chief Russ Van Houten.
E.B. Rains is the only Northglenn Officer to lose his life while on duty in the city's history. Corporal Edgar Blain Rains Jr. lost his life on May 30th, 1984 while protecting the citizens of Northglenn.

The Board of Adjustment is charged with hearing appeals and variance applications for zoning and land use issues. The Board makes decisions on matters under its jurisdiction according to provisions of the municipal code.
The board consists of five regular and two alternate members, who serve three-year terms. Members are appointed by the mayor with the approval of city council.
The board meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. in council chambers at city hall on an as-needed basis. | | Public Documents
