It is the mission of the Finance and Internal Support Center to provide timely, acccurate information to all customers resulting in procurement of quality, cost-effective goods and services for the City of Northglenn in compliance with the City's charter, municipal code and purchasing procedures.

Formal sealed bids, (delivered or emailed) are used for the purchase of products or services in excess of $25,000, when it can be reasonably assumed competition exists or as directed by the City Manager. The preferred method of bid submission is an electronic attachment to the e-mail address specified in the bid document.

Bid announcements are published the first Thursday or Friday of every month in the Northglenn-Thornton Sentinel and Daily Journal. You can arrange to pick up packets at City Hall or click the link below to download the current bids online.

The City of Northglenn, Colorado utilizes a regional bid notification system created for purchasing departments within the area. This bid system allows purchasing departments to post formal bids, informal quotes, requests for proposal, construction notices, addenda and awards, all on one centralized system. The Cities of Aurora, Broomfield, Centennial, Englewood, Grand Junction, Lakewood,, Wheat Ridge, Arapahoe County, Mesa County Valley School District No.51, Jefferson County and Foothills Park and Recreation District are already using this system.

The system saves the City and our vendors, time and money by reducing printing, postage and mailing costs. All vendors who wish to do business with the City are encouraged to register on this bid system.

Vendors who have Internet access should review registration options online by signing on to the following web address: www.govbids.com and clicking on the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System link.

Many cities began issuing Bids, Quotes, Amendments and Awards via this system in October, 2003. If you are already registered on this system, you do NOT have to register separately for the City of Northglenn.

If you do not have Internet access, please call technical support at BidNet, (800) 677-1997 and ask for their Vendor Support Department at extension # 214. They will be happy to register you over the telephone.
