More than 130 first and second graders toured City Hall, the Northglenn Recreation Center, the Northglenn Police Department and Northglenn Municipal Court. Along the way, they had a hands-on learning experience with North Metro Fire and Rescue District trucks, Northglenn ambulances, sanitation equipment, a street sweeper, maintenance equipment, water trucks and a lift truck.

At the end of the tour the kids helped clean up E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park.
