E. B. Rains Park Cleanup
Officers from the Northglenn Police Department volunteer their time and energy to clean up and beatify the E.B. Rains memorial area. The memorial is located on the East side of E.B. Rains Park, 11700 Community Center Drive. Sergeant Steve Garrow is pictured with Chief Russ Van Houten.
E.B. Rains is the only Northglenn Officer to lose his life while on duty in the city's history. Corporal Edgar Blain Rains Jr. lost his life on May 30th, 1984 while protecting the citizens of Northglenn.

Councilwoman Jill Parsons was elected to office during the Nov. 1, 2005 election and is serving her first term as a representative of Ward IV. Councilwoman Parsons is the ex-officio member to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and serves as the council Lliaison to the Northglenn Arts and Humanities Foundation.
