Officers and volunteers from the Northglenn Police Department installed playground equipment at Glen Park Village Apartment in an effort to make a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for children in our community.

Councilwoman Gaye Monroe was elected as a Ward II representative during the November 2005 election. Currently, she is appointed parliamentarian. She also serves as the ex-officio member to the Northglenn Youth Commission, an alternate representative to Colorado Municipal League (CML), a representative to Rocky Flats Stewardship Council, and is the Council Liaison to the Adams Twelve Five Star Schools Board of Education.

Term expires: January 2010 | | Councilwoman Joyce Downing was sworn in office on January 2008 to represent Ward II after winning the November 2007 election. Downing serves as an ex-officio member to the Historic Preservation Commission, is the council liaison to the Northglenn Senior Organization, and a representative to the Victim Assistance and Law Enforcement (VALE) Board.
