Officers and volunteers from the Northglenn Police Department installed playground equipment at Glen Park Village Apartment in an effort to make a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for children in our community.

Mayor Kathleen Novak represents the city at large. She began her service as a member of City Council in July 1991 and in January 2002 she was sworn in as the Mayor of Northglenn. Novak was reelected to another four-year term in the November 2005 election. Currently, she serves as the Council representative to the Denver Regional Council of Government (DRCOG) and is the 1st Vice-President of the National League of Cities.
