NURA Purchases Land at 112th and Washington

On April 16, the Northglenn Urban Renewal Authority (NURA) purchased property at 11221 and 11215 Washington Street for future redevelopment opportunities. The property was bought for $500,000.

All the tenants were provided a relocation package, and four of the five have been relocated to new Northglenn locations:

  • Elegant Ink leased a suite at the Phenix Salon Suites, located at 10620 Melody Drive, Unit F.
  • High Tide Liquor leased 1,488 square feet at 1416 W. 104th Ave. and plans to open in June.
  • Toro Taxes leased 550 square feet at 1490 Roseanna Drive.
  • V's Unique Salon leased 690 square feet at 11684 Huron St., Building 2, Unit 103B.

This property was eyed by the NURA board as a priority redevelopment property within the next three to five years. The goal will be to identify a developer or end-user to redevelop this area, which will positively enhance both the Washington Street and East 112th Avenue corridors.
