Trees Available to Residents at Discount

Cost is $30-$45, depending on species.

Now is the time to plan for spring planting. The Parks Division has 40 trees available for Northglenn residents to purchase at a significant discount from retail prices. This is a great opportunity to acquire a quality tree and contribute to the beautification of Northglenn!

Cost for the trees is $30 to $45 each, depending on the species.

The trees will be either balled and burlaped (B&B) or bare root. They will be 8 to 12 feet tall and have trunks 1 to 1½ inches in diameter. The B & B trees will weigh approximately 50 to 100 pounds. Trees should be planted immediately upon pickup. Once established (three to four years after planting) these trees are considered low to low-moderate water use trees. Proper planting techniques and tree care information will be distributed with each order.

Trees will be available for pick up on Saturday, April 14, at the Maintenance & Operations Facility, 12301 Claude Court.

Payment can be made at the Northglenn Recreation Center by check, cash, MasterCard or Visa and is due by April 2. Trees do not come with warranties and refunds are not available.
