An IGA with Westminster, Thornton and Northglenn makes boating permits available to residents.
On Tuesday, Jan. 17, applications for 2012 permits for Standley Lake will be available at the city of Westminster’s Web site, www.ci.westminster.co.us, at its Regional Park Nature Center, 100th Avenue and Simms Avenue, or at the Parks Department in Westminster City Hall, 4800 W. 92nd Ave.
Northglenn residents should fill out a resident application. Cost for a resident permit is $850.
There is a limit on boating permits, so first-come, first-served. Completed packets may be turned in ONLY at the Standley Lake nature center starting at 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6.
