Candlelight Vigil

Officer Jeremy Lund lights a candle for Sergeant Steve Garrow in preparation for a unity of officers showing their support of officers that have lost their lives in the line of duty. The candlelight vigil has become a yearly event, held at E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park during National Police Week in mid May.

The Northglenn Municipal Court was established by the City Charter and is responsible for administering the operations of the judicial branch of city government according to the ordinances adopted by City Council.

The municipal court may enforce its orders and judgments in a manner as a court of record and as provided by general law. The court is presided over by a judge who is a licensed member of the Colorado State Bar and who is appointed by City Council for a two-year term.

Northglenn Municipal Court processes traffic, criminal, parking, photo red and general violation summonses, hearing all cases relating to the ordinances of the city. The court convenes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Directions to Court

Take Interstate 25 to the 120th Avenue exit, go east to Grant Street, turn south on Grant Street, continue past the Northglenn Recreation Center to City Hall. Follow the signs to the court on the lower level.
