The city of Northglenn oversees certain activities that are regulated and require licenses. Persons or businesses who are found performing these activities without a license may be cited for violating the Municipal Code and would be issued a summons to appear in Municipal Court.

Other licenses - such as driver's licenses and marriage licenses - are issued by Adams County or the state.
