Wordpress Web Class Offered for Five Northglenn Businesses

Wordpress Web Class Offered for Five Northglenn Businesses

If your business doesn’t have a Web presence or has an outdated site, chances are you’re sending customers to a competitor – 61 percent of global Internet users research products and services online!
What if you didn’t have to spend countless hours trying to figure it out, or pay a Web developer to get a great site?

The city is hosting a  four-week class on Tuesday nights in July for FIVE Northglenn businesses on building a site using Wordpress – one of the most popular Web content management systems in the world. With Wordpress, users can easily create, update and delete the content on their site. Wordpress is a simple tool – if you know how to leverage it.

In this class, participants will learn step-by-step how to build a Wordpress site using a professionally designed theme so that you have a dynamic site that looks great.

The cost for the class will be $35 to $55, which covers the cost of the theme used for your site. (A theme determines the look of a Wordpress site.)

Find out how to install a site, change the look or feel and create pages. Also, learn marketing secrets to create engaging content, tips on driving traffic to your site and clarity on what visitors want. At the end of the four weeks, participants will have a working knowledge of Wordpress, four key pages and a Web presence that drives more business.

Given the personalized nature of this training, space is limited to FIVE Northglenn businesses.

To register, contact Economic Development Manager Debbie Tuttle at dtuttle@northglenn.org or 303-450-8743.

Attendees must bring their own laptop. Wireless Internet access is available at the location.
