As part of the July 4th Family Festival tradition, the City hosts a spectacular fireworks display just north of Webster Lake at E.B. Rains, Jr. Memorial Park, located at 11700 Community Center Drive. Bring the whole family and come down early to get a bite to eat. If you enjoy music, you won't want to miss the concert that starts at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy the sounds and food while waiting for the fireworks!

Parks and Recreation Advisory Board

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board advises council and staff about park plans, facilities and programs. They make recommendations to council on contracts and expenditures for projects and hold public hearings for Capital Improvement Projects and recreation services.

The board is also responsible for considering vendor applications for persons wanting to sell goods in city parks.
