City of Northglenn Ordinance 1619 addresses the regulation of medical marijuana businesses within the city. In order to operate a medical marijuana center, cultivation facility, or medical marijuana-infused product manufacturing operation in the City of Northglenn, city and state licenses must be obtained. To apply for a city license, submit a completed application and all required attachments to the City Clerk’s Office. A non-refundable application fee of $2,500 and a license fee of $1,500 payable to the city of Northglenn must be remitted with the documents.

Note that the application requires a complete set of fingerprints to be submitted for certain individuals associated with the application. Fingerprinting is available at the City Clerk's Office; call to make an appointment at 303-450-8755. Cost is $39.50, which must be made with a business check, money order or credit card payment made out to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. Personal checks and cash are NOT acceptable.

The application also requires that the applicant apply for a city Business and Sales Tax License. A fee of $15 payable to the city must be remitted with the application.
