The City's Public Communication Department provides timely information to the media, community, businesses and non-profits agencies regarding city programs, projects, events and activities to support transparency in government and to foster an informed community.

Public Communication is inclusive of audio-visual services, graphic design, radio/television/print/web advertising, marketing, public and community relations. It is responsible for the monthly publication The Northglenn Connection, the videotaping of city council and study session meetings, the production of public service announcements and the daily programming and operation of Channel 8, content management of the city's website, social media, coordination of Coffee with the Mayor, cable franchise regulation and the administration of citizen's surveys.

Public Communication assists with groundbreakings and grand openings for city projects; hosts the annual state legislative briefing, and provides marketing support to city divisions.
