Northglenn Bike Program

Have A Bike To Donate?
If you have a bicycle sitting in the garage collecting dust, we have a place to take it. The city is accepting donations of both adult and children's bikes to be given to local residents.

Years ago our sanitation workers saw bikes going into the landfill that had something simple not working on it - a broken chain, a flat tire, a loose brake line or worse yet - a child that had outgrown a perfectly nice bike.  They hated to see the waste and brought the bikes back to our maintenance yard for fixing and giving back out to neighborhood children in need.  Flash forward over 10 years and now the city collects over 300 bikes per year from a number of sources, uses volunteers to fix up the bikes and return them to people in need all over the city.

Donate a Bike
If your bike is in the city, we will come to pick it up. You can also drop it off at the Maintenance and Operations Facility, 12301 Claude Court at the front entrance.

Tax donation forms are available upon request.
